We need to take responsibility for our own happiness and not blame others or external situations for your unhappiness. Happiness is something that you choose to work towards everyday.

Now 60 years old and being fully into menopause, I'm not new to this rodeo, but I still get frustrated with my memory. Our brains are complex and we know so little about how they work, but there things you can do to maintain brain health as you age.
The magic of the trail is that you meet so many people willing to help you along on your journey. Hearing our dilemma, a fellow hiker gave me one of her hiking poles so I could continue my journey. No expectation of ever seeing us again or returning her pole.
Having always priding myself on being fit, strong and agile, this was a difficult situation to accept. Due to the kindness of a stranger, who gave me one of her hiking poles, I was able to move forward one more day than I would have been able to otherwise.
