8-week camino training challenge

The 8-week Ramblers’ Camino Training Challenge is designed to prepare you for walking up to 6 hours daily over multiple consecutive days.

This Challenge is intended to be completed in the final 2 months before your Camino adventure. It assumes that you already have a regular walking routine and can comfortably walk for more than an hour.

If your Camino plans are further in the future or if you haven’t established a daily walking routine yet, you can still participate, but you'll need to adjust the suggested walking times to suit your current fitness level.

The training plan includes four weekly walks: three shorter and one longer walk. It starts with a 1.5-hour long walk and progresses to long walks of 6 hours in the last two weeks. 

Additionally, the plan incorporates guided strength and stretching exercises, stamina-building activities, and helpful tips for a successful Camino—such as choosing the right packs and shoes, creating a packing list, and destination information

Post walks and cheer on your Sole Sisters.

Moderators will drop by daily with training guidance, inspiration, and tips for a joy-filled Camino!
