Kim Moore is a Sole Sister Rambler born in Chicoutimi, Quebec, and raised across Canada and the United States. An empath, bookworm, and adventurer, she brings a deep love of nature, water, and life’s simple joys to everything she does.
This poem was my expression of love and longing for those who are no longer with me. I felt such deep sorrow and angst within my grief.
And then finally coming to the other side of it, waking up to the gift that life is. It sparked my desire for a wide-open invitation for other souls to embrace this journey together with me.
Come, Celebrate Life with me
All the loved ones in my life
They were my anchor, holding me tight
They are all at the far end of the bridge now
There is such a vacant space between us
My heart breaks with longing
And I know I need to buy my own flowers
And to love myself with that love I have for them
Come, Celebrate Life with me
I need you, all of you, to share this life with me
