Dawn Cant Elliott 🇨🇦 Rambler Profile

Born in St. Catharines and now happily rooted in Welland, Ontario, Dawn is a vibrant, creative, and adventure-loving woman who embraces life with the energy of someone twenty years younger. Passionate about art, cycling, and meaningful connections, she lives each day with curiosity, joy, and a touch of playful mischief.

What is the best part about being your age?

I finally have the time—and, fortunately, the resources—to do the things I’ve always wanted to do.

What do you most love about being a woman?

I love having friendships with women from such diverse backgrounds. It seems that women truly cultivate friendships in a way men often don’t!

What five words would you use to describe yourself?

Reliable, generous, creative, friendly, and delightfully silly.

What do you most like to do in your spare time?

I’m very creative and have an art studio in my home where I’ll try my hand at just about anything artistic (some creations are hits… others, not so much!). Cycling is also a huge part of my life—road, trail, gravel, bike-packing, and even coaching.

What are the top 5 things on your bucket list?

My bucket list is unique—I aim to eat foods in places they’re named after. I’ve already checked off 30+ experiences like “Ice in Iceland,” a “Belgian waffle in Belgium,” being “Hungry in Hungary,” and enjoying a “Manhattan in Manhattan.” What’s next? Who knows!

What is the most sentimental thing in your home?

We visited the Black Forest in Germany in 2021, and while there (yes, I had Black Forest Cake in the Black Forest!), we purchased a cuckoo clock. Every day, it sings to us—and we smile!

What advice would you give your younger self?

Be yourself. You’re only here to impress yourself, not anyone else.

What are you most afraid of?

I’m afraid of dying. I don’t want to die—I’m not ready to. I have so much to live for right now, and I’m at an age where I want to do things, stay active, create, and help others. I want to remain healthy for many more years to come.
