Natasha Finnerty 🇮🇪 Rambler Profile

Natasha, a passionate hiker from Dublin, finds joy exploring the Wicklow Hills and Mourne Mountains. Inspired by the Sole Sisters Ramblers’ mission of female empowerment, she has discovered new friendships, confidence, and a renewed love for adventure.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Dublin, and what I treasure most about those years was the tight-knit community that shaped who I am today.

What do you love about Rambling?

I’m a keen hiker who feels most at home in the hills. Nothing compares to rambling around the Wicklow Mountains or the Mournes, where the views—especially on a clear day—take my breath away.

How did you find Sole Sisters Ramblers?

I discovered this incredible organisation while searching for a female-only hiking group, and I was immediately drawn to the ethos of female empowerment and connection across the globe. In a short time, Sole Sisters has truly changed my life. I’ve gained confidence, formed wonderful new friendships, and feel very lucky to be part of this journey.

What is your favorite book?

My favourite book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. Reading it was the moment I fell in love with English literature.

What is your dream Ramble?

My dream Ramble is to climb Mount Kilimanjaro—a challenge I hope to take on within the next two years.

What is your perfect day?

A perfect day, for me, is one filled with laughter.

What is the best thing that has happened to you recently?

Without question, the best thing that’s happened recently is joining the Sole Sister Ramblers. This community has opened new doors, given me courage, and filled my life with joy.
