Mylene Sherrin is raising a very willful border collie and caring for chickens, sheep, and a garden on Salt Spring Island, Canada. She loves rambling, adventures in faraway places, and sipping good coffee.
Where do you live?
I live on beautiful Salt Spring Island, nestled in the Salish Sea between Vancouver and Victoria on the West Coast of Canada. I grew up on Salt Spring, left after high school, and returned eleven years later with three small children.
I liked growing up here; I spent my teens riding my horse on trails through the woods and over the fields, safely hanging out on beaches, or wandering quiet roads in the moonlight with my friends.
What do you do with your spare time?
I run a small farm and Bed and Breakfast in my spare time. Salt Spring is a popular tourist destination in the summer. I have sheep, chickens, a garden, and a greenhouse full of veggies.
I also love to hike the beautiful trails in the area, usually with my husband and dog. And in the summer, I love to get out on the water and paddle to nearby islands.

I am a night owl and like my food savory rather than sweet. My favorite way to relax is with a strong cappuccino.
