Where is your favorite place to ramble, and why do you love it?
In the head of my 9-year-old grandson when we play basketball or soccer or take a walk in the woods. I learn what he is thinking, feeling, or dealing with. He teaches me so much about life and what is important to him.
What do you most like to do in your spare time?
I like spending time with friends and family, gardening, yoga, meditating, taking walks, visiting museums and historical sights, listening to audiobooks, and researching my inherited decorative art pieces.
What five words would you use to describe yourself?
I am outgoing, a good listener, compassionate, proactive thinker, and considerate.
What thing in your life had the most impact on who you are now?
My parents and grandparents were a significant influence on me. They taught me about resilience, looking at the positive in life, being proactive and not reactive, the importance of finances, and being responsible while spending time having fun.
For you, what does a perfect day look like?
My perfect day starts with stretching, yoga, meditation, walking with a friend, seeing my grandson, and finishing the evening with my favorite beverage.
What are your favorite colors, and where do they show up?
I love bright colors and flowers in my home, and my favorites are burgundy, blue, and orange. My home entrance is painted pumpkin orange, burgundy in the living room, and the family room is slate blue. I love the colors, and I get a lot of compliments, though if I ever move, I will repaint the walls for the next person.
What is your dream ramble?
My dream ramble is going to any random town or city, popping into a museum, walking in a park, or hiking.
What are the top 5 things on your bucket list?
Travel, travel, travel, travel and travel . . . particularly this year when I turn 70. I plan to take a vacation once a month for the next 12 months. I am heading to St. Augustine and Amelia Island, Florida, next, and then who knows what I will decide to do after that!
