What do you most like to do in your spare time?
I love tending my garden, growing our own food, and keeping a flock of rescue battery hens. I also love cooking, writing, getting crafty around the house, and spending time with our cats and dogs.
Where is your favorite place to ramble, and why do you love it?
There is a small mountain in Connemara called Máméan (Mawmean), where I go whenever my soul needs a hug. It was an important place of worship in the Pagan times and is also a place of pilgrimage at certain times of the year.
I love the starkness of the hill in winter, when it's just myself and the sheep, with the beautiful Inagh Valley in the distance. It is a blissful place.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Value your own worth and believe in yourself.
What makes you a grown-ass lady?
Finally, I learned to say NO without feeling one little bit guilty.
