As most of you know by now, I am always looking for something new to watch, read, or listen to. Well, this week I found a singer/songwriter I absolutely love, and he's from my hometown of Toronto!
His name is Jeremie Albino. I was listening to CBC about 2 weeks ago, and they were interviewing Jeremie. He was so down to earth, and his voice was smooth and rich.
He bridges three of my favorite genres of music - Americana, Folk, and Country. His combination of storytelling and gorgeous vocals might just become the soundtrack to your quiet time or your dinner parties.
He inspired me to take the liberty of creating this new Spotify playlist for you called Nomi's Chill Time. It features Jeremie Albino and other vocalists that pair well with his music.
Songs of note in this playlist are Hard Time (Upbeat), Across the Hall (upbeat), Past Dawn (mellow), Shipwreck (mellow), and What Am I Living For? (collaboration).
